Fossil Fuel Fakery & The Net Zero Climate Scam

Shortest Video Clip Next & Longest is Last

I've been green all my life. As a young boy growing up in West Germany, I didn't know anything other than a clean and tidy environment close to nature. It was on our return to 'civvy street' in Southampton 1979 that I saw immediately the contrast including a lack of civic responsibility with refuse and plastic wrapping strewn everywhere.

I buy 2nd hand clothes and books from charity shops and used only an electric fan over decades in the tropics except in rare circumstances. I don't buy things I don't need and that includes bottled water when tap water with fluoride is fine.

Back in the day the author John Grant wrote a book called The Green Marketing Manifesto, and was generous enough to give me a credit, as many of us joined in with the online brainstorming on greenormal. Leaving the smallest footprint on whatever shape this planet is, is not a frivolous ideal.

When I state that zero sums climate change is a scam for the flock. I'm happy to discuss that with anyone. Climate is a wonderful subject. CO2 is an extraordinary requirement for life. I heart carbon and so do you.

ELKKA - DJ FRIENDLY (EDIT)

This is how we know Elon is in the club as are a few others. You can check all the boxes on freedom fighter, but are you really checking the boxes while I'm censored from pointing out the intellectual puddle called net Zero and the holocaust in Gaza. Elon is going to throw the Jews under a bus and as with the Palestinians we have to pick up the pieces - 2014 It's like groundhog day.

Meet The New Boss - Same As The Old Boss

Tweeted, is a hard word to say on X.

In the future the only word people will need is X, it will mean everything and nothing at all. The old guard vs new guard dialectic is fascinating to observe, except they're going to throw Jews under a bus and the Zionists will do what they've always done. They will jump ship like the Neocons did when the Left started waking up about Israelism

I'm so old the Neocons have jumped back to the NeoLiberals again. The partisans never reject a free ride.

You have more than you know.

Racing Extinction - 2015

Every subject is weaponized so I understand those who mistakenly conflate climate change politics with ocean acidification because of their mutual connection to carbon dioxide levels.

This documentary is a powerful wake up call and even though research is often weaponized to prove one point or another I see no reason for not being the best custodians of the oceans and seas that we can. The Manta Ray scene above is very moving and a possible example of emergence.

The question remains what will the post-Anthropocene age look like?

David Rothschild

David Rothschild strikes me as a thoughtful and caring person. He understands that climate change is less of an issue than ecological harmony. The latter encourages a stable climate and it is this point I find the "for or against" crowd most tedious on.

However we are still faced with a troubling question(s).

We know the ruling bloodlines use trauma based mind control on their own children and so it's impossible to determine if David's Ecowarrior, Traveller and Adventurer credentials are just one of many identities without spending any significant observational time in new world order to identify

.... if there are any inconsistencies such as loss of time, change of personality or any other indicators of trauma based mind control....

David has recently blocked me on Twitter yet the only question I've ever asked him is 'Does he know what a multiple is?". Probably very annoying if he doesn't and annoying if he does.

While writing this it occurred to me that if I had centuries of experience at mind control it would be easy to run the entire Rothschild clan under mind control with different personalities for generation ...

... after generation while the real power, the handlers, resided outside the immediate field of view. Just a thought and one I might develop in subsequent posts.

British Teabagging Wastes 33 Hours A Year (And Violence Abroad)

65% of Brits admit to overfilling their Kettle which means that"British households waste $114 million every year. UK energy needs are so desperate they are prepared to support terrorists and rebels in Syria (200,000 dead so far) so their Qatar friends gas pipelines can run through it and keep the old energy order in place.

“One day of extra energy use [from overfilling electric kettles] is enough to light all the streetlights in England for a night.”

“The average Brit spends 33 hours a year waiting for the kettle to boil.”

The Miito Kettle is not cheap so it takes a while to get the initial investment back, however it is a design classic and each purchase will contribute towards making economies of scale sufficiently competitive with standard kettles.

Every thought, every purchase, every disposal, every word and every action we all make is either right or wrong. No in between.

Vivienne Westwood @ The Foreign Office

I don't think the fashion business should be talking about climate revolution when the idea (not the business itself) is the worst ideological offender for changing something with no great pragmatic reason. Other than that it's a great show. Aunty Viv is still producing beautiful clothes.

Guess Who's At The Top Of The Child Trafficking Pyramid

Ratzinger and Lizzie have both been served a summons by the  (non binding) International Tribunal into Crimes of Church and State (ITCCS)  to appear this September on charges of complicity in child trafficking, genocide and crimes against humanity. Thailand specific information of border children who are being shipped to Vancouver and the West Coast of the United states is also available at allgirlsallowed.org (please note, it's a civilian summons and more about the gesture at this stage)

This story isn't going to go away. Local churches are breaking away from the Vatican as in during the last reformation. Lizzie owns fully a fifth of the surface of planet Earth and therefore if the planet is getting raped and the children are getting raped that maybe the oh-so-spesh blue blood is less part of our human and red bloodline.

Birdcage walk is becoming increasingly agitated. As are MI5, MI6 and all the other pimp agencies that swear loyalty to the crown. Don't expect to see the corporate media covering the story. It's just business.

Planet Empathy Is People Empathy

The video at the bottom of this post is unavoidably set to autoplay, so before I commence this post may I request you pay attention to the hired commercial messaging that the PR person is repeating from an earlier prepared script? He's telling you the 'water is clean'. Never mind about the damned millions of fish dead in the harbour. That's what commercialism does. Changes the subject....Now on to my post.

No software or pair of sneakers is going to enlighten the human spirit enough for us to elevate ourselves to a point where we can prevent the poisoning of the oceans that is now leading to whales and dolphins beaching themselves, fish turning up dead in their millions in harbours around the world and birds falling from the skies.

I have no personal issue with any of you who are locked in to a career of consumer materialism to pay bills and plan for the future. My argument is with consumer materialism and the stupidity of banking (planning?) on a future that isn't there. You may not be responsible for the system but until you break away from it the only important question to ask yourself is 'are you part of the problem or part of the solution?'.

And let's face it. Between you and I, even going out of your way to make an appallingly bad ad isn't going to make a damn bit of difference. That's how capitalism works. Triangulating forces by pitting workers against corporate executives, with capital calling all the shots. I'm all for empathy. But commercialised and selective empathy isn't working out.

Mike Hagan Interviews Jay Weidner On Radio Orbit

'Mike Hagan' - 'Radio Orbit' .mp3
Found at bee mp3 search engine

I'm surprised I haven't come across Mike Hagan until I heard his John Lash piece. This Jay Weidner interview doesn't commence until the first hour. I enjoy finding and posting these embeddable mp3 files on the net as a way of either helping others to enjoy more of (to my mind) the best interviews on the net or just saving them for digital posterity in a more accessible manner. That could be called curation by some but for me that word is too self important and in the final analysis is inaccurate  as well as misleading usage in the digital age.

Simple Solutions

While Adam and I are still hammering out the details on the big economic/geopolitical stuff that probably wont really be of any consequence anyway, my friends over at Baby Creative in London have squeezed out this little film which I think has a nice simplicity to it worth bearing in mind.

Video Petitioning

I can imagine seeing more of this kind of 'signable' video petitioning emerging. This example is for the Copenhagen (COP15) Summit in Copenhagen during December. It brings to life the traditional petition format which looks a bit tired when adding a name to the email listings we've seen over the years.

However Adam and I are having one of our most extensive comment threads over here on the subject of climate change on an earlier post and in some ways it's a personal exchange that we tried to Skype but which we've take into the open here and still has a bit to run as we untangle fact, fiction, evidence, logic and sentiment. Either way, if you're not thinking about this crucial subject you're probably avoiding it and one thing is sure. It's unavoidable in the final review.

Car Logic

This piece of film is possibly as good as it gets in being controversial, inspirational and compelling.

It's via
Faris and it's awesome. Will it do the trick? That's up to us not the corporations. It's about personal decisions to run, walk, cycle or take public transport if the car or more accurately the internal combustion engine is ever to be sidelined as the single most extravagant commitment to our own demise in the history of history and remainder of future.

What is Honda doing about this? They're making provocative film, which is to be applauded because it does at least encourage people to reframe their relationship with 20th century technology that is mostly stationery (parked) and then when being used is mostly empty.

So we're stealing from our children. But they may not have anything to look back at and moan about if that pricks your conscience.

I don't know if we have 80 years because the whole point of the Long now project is we stopped dreaming about the future as we may have tipped the carbon scales against us while snorting the fossil ones that are evidently so addictive.

But I tend towards optimism.

In any case like I wrote back here, we built our cities around cars instead of around people and it seems like Honda have recognised that's a bad thing although they could start by mentioning the Toyota Winglet if they weren't so self obsessed. No doubt Toyota would be just as solipsistic. It's how greed works.

But I'm also somewhat pessimistic  when it comes to specifically car culture because even though there are clearly some awesome dudes in this piece of film (the Alpha male? - you rock) the best way Honda et al could change the world would be for the automobile manufacturers to collectively lobby government in a self imposed manner and clip their wings by imposing HUGE penalties unless they make standard, low emission, tax incentivised hybrid plus NPD mobility.

But that's a bit like the collective self determination of many Japanese males (XX Generation) recognising that the future of the salary man was a bit of an intellectual con job that largely fostered a culture of bullying against women. XX Generation decided to disappoint their fathers and now still live with their longer living mums and wear lipstick for reasons that seem related to their rejection of getting laid. I've made that up of course. Or have I?

It's a collective decision for the better in that example, (and historically not exceptional). Yet any cretin can see that the corporation is all about those fathers, maximising the quarterly report for ever quicker and larger earnings velocity without really addressing the urgent and pressing issue that it only hastens us faster and faster and faster towards our own demise. (There is a role for socialised communications in all this by the way)

Top of mind as a throw away solution for a disposable society is slowing down the Corporations quarterly report to a bi-annual one. I'm sure you can think of better one's, but the greedy guys at the top aren't going to dig that are they? They're too busy digging our own graves.

So anyway, even though the environment singularity (where nature teaches us a big lesson) is tumbling ever closer and ever quicker than the insanely quick technological one, demanding we need tomorrows consumption today; we're still kind of relying on the stone age equivalent of fossil fuel combustion to be moved around, which I can't help but think is about rubbing two sticks together while surrounded by powerwindows, a sense of empowerment through acceleration and some decent subwoofers to drown out the drone of other cars ouside, because it isn't noisy kids that anymore and that's not because of the paedophiles but because of the car.

All that pace of change and we're stuck with corporate Cro-Magnon. You should watch this movie, but if you rely on Honda to get it right in 80 years time you might as well be honest and sphyxiate your children now.

You probably are if you're dropping them off at school.

Sam who came and stayed with me in Bangkok not so long back did this and I think it's good enough to reblog. I urge you to take a look and consider lending your vote for the Cannes Young Lions by reading the full story over here.

The Post Party Sweet Spot

Here's a post I've had brewing in my head for a while now. I've never stopped trying to reconcile selling more stuff (my work) in a world of finite resources. I believe that even if climate change is not happening because of the way we use carbon fuels and behave like it's a disposable society (ironic that isn't it?) that it's our moral responsibility to take care of this planet in a way which shows future generations that we tried to hand over the best torch possible.

I believe one day in the vast future we will look back at planet Earth, maybe from distant solar systems and see it as the genesis of something beautiful. If it's in good shape it might be reminiscent of a garden of Eden. Of course the religous references will get some people's backs up, but I have my own system of belief that belongs to no one else because it's mine and I'm quite convinced that without some belief there would be an equal amount of problems. This doesn't make me any less of a hypocrite as I'm a human and all too fallible.

I think John Grant went a long way to reconciling the notions of making money (or value) and treating the planet as if it's resources are meagre instead of full. It's not and, our evolutionary (yes I think evolution makes sense) programming doesn't allow us to instinctively take care of relatively slow moving events. We'll only know if we've fucked up when we've fucked and by then it's too late. So change our lives and do one right thing. Be frugal.

I'll share something about John and I. We never really get it on in real life, and because I think he's a genius, a bit of a hero, and also a brilliant communicator when given centre stage, I don't want people to confuse that with kissing ass. John and I had the same girlfriend in the late nineties. Not at the same time. I after him, and truthfully I only realised it when I started reading his blog nearly ten years later. I've never been one to follow industry stars because it's only advertising and not nearly as important as saving someone's life with a defibrillator which is far more useful when push comes to shove - It is however what I love doing. This may or may not be the reason why John and I are not best mates, but I know deep down as do many others that his book The Green Marketing Manifesto is one of the most important books in our business if for instance, working on a tobacco account is something you would find offensive. Aren't rising sea levels and climate change affecting the poorest on this planet much more offensive than auto-exposure to lung cancer?

My hopes for a 'rewiring of our economies' which is something I've been talking about for quite a while was never strong. I know that everything changes and everything stays the same so I couldn't see how we could slow down our economies and population growth to take the time to find solutions for not choking on our own growth. I spent long days talking about it in the US with my political mentor and he finally came round to my way of thinking that we need 'managed population decline' to really find ways of keeping this incredible thing called life continuing for millenia before we jettison ourselves off this planet, find somewhere else and let it grow fallow for a long time while observing it from distant galaxies as the birth of something quite special.

And then along comes something I've felt in my gut for about 5 to 10 years that we are facing a massive financial implosion. Nothing brainy or clever but simply put the idea of making money out of losses (shorting on a stock market) seems to me as stupid as having a bookmakers where betting on losers is the point. It's dumb and we were hoodwinked by the financial markets into believing it was a valid financial mechanism. Unless of course you were the creatives on this remarkable piece of prescience that I loved so much and tried to bring your attention to back in March.

Anyway, we've hit the sweet spot. It looks like we've had a hell of a party, there's cake and booze everywhere but now it's time to clean up and we can build a better world because of it. Yes we can do marketing in new ways while managing decline and add value and creativity to peoples lives with big thoughts such as more ideas less stuff. Isn't that what the internet is? Isn't sharing our lives more important that acquisition of more stuff. Shouldn't we compare ourselves by what we do, how we act and what we believe in rather than the bullshit marketing methodology that has been outed for what it really is so very recently; fear marketing of "if you don't wash your hair with our shampoo, you wont be as pretty as the other succesful girls in the office" or in this case, baby straps? Yes it took mothers to rebel and say fuck you to shitty advertising. I love this business and I am very optimistic about the future. We've hit a remarkable sweet spot. A big problem that needs sorting out with slower economies, enter stage right a mini global depression, the tools to fix it, as social media is nothing short of a revolution, and the kind of leadership that only tips up once every eighty years or so that has the mandate to really change things. Yes we can. Oy!

Now it's over to the economists. Why don't you do something useful for once and rewire our economies based on what we have and not on what we want. Because as we now know, we want it all. Including redemption.
